Disney Dining
Eating at Walt Disney World is an adventure in itself! Many current deals include dining plans, offering guests the opportunity to try out even more of Disney’s many choices. Generally dining falls into 3 main categories: Quick Serve, Full Service (requiring Advanced Dining Reservations) and Dinner Shows. Disney meal plans are prepaid as part of your vacation package.
Quick Service: The fast food of Disney dining. Many resorts have food courts and all of the walk up counter serve options in the Disney theme parks fall into this category. Offerings include everything from American fare – chicken, burgers and pizza to Chinese, Italian, Mexican and more.
Full Service: All Moderate and Deluxe resorts have at least one full serve dining location and there are many options available in all of the theme parks. Dining at these locations requires an Advanced Dining Reservation which can be made up to 90 days in advance (soon to be moved to 180 days) by calling (407)WDW-DINE. Reservations can also be made at the resorts and guest service locations although the more popular locations fill up quickly and generally require a reservation made well in advance.
Dinner Shows: The Hoop Dee Doo Dinner Show, Polynesian Luau and Mickey’s All American BBQ are all dinner shows requiring payment and reservations in advance. (Dining packages such as Candlelight and Fantasmic also require reservations and payment and allow guests the opportunity to take advantage of special seating for shows in combination with a dining experience.)
